This video describes the Verizon VoIP Inbound Anti-Fraud and Authentication services. Powered by a new IP Contact Center feature called Media Forking that replicates an inbound call along with its IP header and sends that information to a third party. Pindrop technologies is the first vendor to take advantage of this technology from Verizon and Verizon can now offer services to identify potential fraud as well as authenticate customers. Using Pindrop’s patented technology and Verizon’s media forking Enterprises can now get these services integrated with the inbound call. This integration helps better control costs and increase the applicability of the services. Using media forking, this is done passively without disrupting the call to the contact center.
