Communities are essential in engendering an environment that inspires growth on both a technological and on an individual level. Troy Connor won the diversity scholarship at last year’s React Conference and is now passionate about talking about the importance of building communities. Connor has been highly active in his local community presenting at meet-ups and teaching kids to code.
According to Connor, the React community has been a champion on creating a warm and approachable atmosphere. This is accomplished as leaders in the field continue to reach out to help each other succeed. The collaborative spirit of members of the React community combined with individuals drive to learn and create amazing technology is one of the reasons that React is able to consistently craft exciting projects like Create React Native App and React Fiber. As those with the freedom to empower people continue to do so, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the React Community.
